TPP Law is
looking forward to attending the conference "Remodelling Education Spaces" at the
University of Manchester in September. Our education
director Graham Burns
will be on the panel at 16:00 on 14 September discussing the implications of the Coalition Government’s
plans for more "free schools" - "How free would the 'free'
school model be?".
This event is a two day conference and exhibition, brought by BSEC, with a specific
focus on the issues around refurbishment of schools, colleges and universities.
In consideration of the changing educational landscape, the event will consider
such pertinent topics as: "the rise in academies", "free schools", "adapting new-build
plans to refurbishment", "funding models in line with the new coalition"and "forward-looking
partnership opportunities".
It is expected that attendees at the conference will include contractors, sub-contractors,
central government policy and project managers, architects, headteachers, ICT and
school project managers, local authorities, LEP managers amongst others.
