Caring for Older People, New Approaches to Provision and Support,
8 September, Westminster

TPP Law are pleased to be co-sponsoring and participating in this topical event at the Commonwealth Club in London, where industry experts will be examining some of the key issues facing adult social care today and looking at what service provision could look like in the future.

Our director Matthew Wolton will be speaking on the latest Government thinking on the funding and commissioning of care services using some of the projects we have worked on as examples, with a wide range of other issues such as the personalisation of care and the role of the third and private sectors all discussed on the day.

TPP Law will be launching our Special Report: Future Service Models for Adult Social Care at the conference and look forward to contributing to current thinking in this crucial area.

Government spending on social care increased by 46% between 2000/01 and 2007/08 and by 2026 it has been estimated that 1.7 million more adults will need care and support*. Against this backdrop of rising costs and diminishing resources, there has never been a more important time to join the debate on the future of social care.
