Matthew Wolton


Director & Solicitor

Matthew has been with The Projects Partnership for five years and has worked on Education, Leisure, ICT and Residential Care Projects. He has also been involved with construction matters from contract negotiation to dispute resolution and legal proceedings.

Matthew also has experience in intellectual property, Internet/IT, Publishing, Franchise and Licence agreements, Insolvency, Debt, Wills and Probate and has previously worked in the Financial Services industry.

Matthew has assisted with the development and delivery of training initiatives and products for executives involved in PPPs.

Recently Matthew closed a £12 million integrated healthcare campus project on the site of a former community hospital in Wiltshire, one of the first to be built following the Government’s recent Health White Paper.

Matthew has also completed an innovative 35 year PPP project for the provision of student accommodation in the University sector by an industrial and provident society.

Matthew successfully closed the biggest schools partnership contract in England to date on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council. The contract is worth around £1 billion over its life and will bring in capital investment of over £200 million to 41 schools in Northampton.

Matthew has completed a £150 million contract with Oxfordshire County Council to operate and re-develop 19 care homes for the elderly. The Oxfordshire Care Partnership is a not-for-profit joint venture between care provider OSJCT and BPHA.

His work has also included successfully completing two Grouped Schools PFI projects for London Boroughs, Richmond Upon Thames and Waltham Forest, with a capital value of £25m and £50m respectively.

In July 2006 Matthew became a director of The Projects Partnership Limited.
