Social Enterprise - Is this your solution?

We were delighted to be involved in a recent conference organised by NHS Networks, the Department of Health & Social Enterprise Unit, the Social Enterprise Coalition and the Cabinet office.  We had a prominent stand at the event and it was a wonderful opportunity to meet interested delegates and to discuss our involvement in this exciting new model and to launch our new publication on structures for social enterprise.

The Conference was a resounding success for all involved and featured an important announcement. In her keynote speech Patrica Hewitt said a million pounds is being made available this year for 'pathfinder' social enterprises in health and social care.

Mark Johnson commented: "To the new familiar public-private partnership and joint venture structures, we must add the social enterprise model. Social enterprises will combine a vision of strong social purpose with enterpreueurial drive. We are delighted to be able to offer legal guidance and support in this new area."

All the presentations from the day are available in the Social Enterprise section of the NHS Networks website - NHS Networks.
